The first Crystal Lagoons Island Resort® will be breaking ground soon bringing the next wave of family entertainment to Glendale, Arizona. This is the first Crystal Lagoons® branded entertainment destination featuring a unique mix of boutique shops, themed restaurants, world class attractions, hospitality and live entertainment all surrounding an eleven-acre lagoon with white sandy beaches, swimming, kayaks, paddle boards and personal watercraft rentals. Crystal Lagoons Island Resort, set to be located on 95th Avenue and Cardinals Way, will offer a 10-acre lagoon along with shops, themed restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues.

Resort officials joined Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers and Yucca District Councilmember Joyce Clark in the groundbreaking. The city hopes the project will generate about 1,800 jobs to the area and generate about $700 million in tax revenue for the State of Arizona and the city itself.

In all, the site will take up 48-acres, adding to the city's vibrant entertainment district, which includes State Farm Stadium and the Westgate Entertainment District.

Crystal Lagoons is expected to open in 2022 ahead of Glendale's hosting of the Super Bowl in 2023.
